Just a question. Is it possible to make a list of songs that you like as you listen that can then be later burned to a CD? I have only seen the possibility to burn a single song or a complete album.

Hi there!
amaroK doesn\'t burn, afaik, a list of songs that you create. If you are looking to do that, you might want to try K3B, which is a part of KDE-Multimedia, if I am not mistaken. amaroK, as it states in the FAQ, does not become part of the offical KDE packages in Multimedia, because they don\'t wish to be hampered by the release schedule of KDE. Hope that helps! |

Sounds like a task for writing a little script then , or maybe it deserves an entry at bugs.kde.org, I think this would be a logical extension to the current burn possibilities amarok offers (by delegating to k3b).

You can burn playlists, too. So one way to manage this, would be to create a playlist with tracks you want to burn, and keep adding to it until you\'re happy with the content.
Note you can drag tracks from the playlist window into a playlist on your \"playlists\" sidebar.

Now I realized how to do it, thought that it must be possible from the beginning when I tried it the first time. It is only a little unintuitive. First you make a playlist, then when you load it and then you select all tracks with Strg A, then on a right click you have the option to burn the selected tracks. Stupid me missed this the first time.

Hmm, I was able to, after reading the thread, do it without a playlist. But that was an album - is this necessary for a list of songs randomly chosen from a playlist?
Just curious |
