I\'ve installed Amarok 1.4.1 b1 from repository on ubuntu 5.10 gnome:

I had some trouble with lyrics: lauching astraweb,liriky or lyrc report a bug:

error 127
/usr/bin/env: ruby: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type

So i\'ve installed ruby1.8, 1.8dev and rib from repository.

The problem remains the same.

Is there something I did wrong??

On the shell, try \"which ruby\". What does it output? Probably nothing.

I guess your ruby binary is called \"ruby-1.8\", that\'s why the script can\'t find it. You\'re probably missing another package, which provides the missing symlink.

$ whereis ruby
ruby: /usr/bin/ruby1.8 /usr/lib/ruby /usr/bin/X11/ruby1.8
manu@ubuntu:~$ which ruby
manu@ubuntu:~$ sudo ln -s /usr/bin/ruby1.8 /usr/bin/ruby
manu@ubuntu:~$ which ruby
/usr/bin/ruby
