When connecting to the edna streaming server, (using the Xine engine, at least), AmaroK is unable to play any items in the playlist.

Edna sends a playlist in which each item is on an http server. Amorak sees the playlist just fine, and adds all the songs in it. However, when trying to play any of the songs, it says \"connecting to straming server\", which gets to 98%,and then just stops. It can\'t seem to play any of the songs.

It seems to be reported in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90430, but the problem is definately not fixed!

I just encountered it in Ubuntu Dapper (flight 5), using amaroK 1.3.8 and KDE 3.5.1

Well the report states it works with the xine-engine. I suppose you tried this?
