Disabling pop ups in 1.4beta2

Tue Mar 21, 2006 8:13 am
I\'ve got 1.4beta2 installed on Kubuntu Dapper, and one new behavior is driving me nuts. Whenever I start amarok, the program will pop up a small notification telling me new media devices are plugged in my system (namely my external hard drive) and reminds me to configure this device. I really don\'t need to do that, so I\'m wondering if there\'s a way to disable this pop up.

Yes: just configure this device and chose \'Do not handle\' (or similar).

Well, I have selected \"Do Not Handle\", but the message is coming up anyway.

I have a similar issue with amarok asking me what to do everytime i insert a data or blank cd. I added the mount point and told amarok to use the "Do not handle" plugin but it still pops up every time... very anoying.... any ideas?
