I have no idea why Amarok is doing this, but here is what I was doing when the crazzyness started happening.
I add a handfull of songs to the current playlist. Then Amarok plays the first song, then when it goes to play the next song, it adds like 5 other completely random songs. And when it plays the 3rd song it adds another random 5 songs.

I think th is is normal. are you using dynamic mode? if so, this is part of the features of amarok. it adds music to your list based on your listening habits in dynamic mode.

if you don\'t want it to do this, turn off dynamic mode.
