Hi All,
I\'m not new in amaroK but this is the first time I bear such problem: amarok plays only one track from my playlist:angry: I tried to modify some config parameters but I couldn\'t find any one which meets my need. Any Help please |

Nur so als Neugier:
Was für eine Linux Distri? Welche amarok Beta Version? Welche engine? Hast Du es mit kaffeine oder xmms ähnliche Verhalten? Grüße J-L |

OK,
I do not have any kind of problem to play amaroK. I am also a SUSE 10 user, with KDE3.5.2 and the amarok 1.4 beta 2 (rpm installed with YaST from following Source: http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-guru/rpm/10.0/ Helix is the realplayer engine and I think this is the only one application to play mp3 for suse10.0. You must build up the necesary libraries and applications to play mp3 files in SuSE. You need all the mp3 additional Files to play such a protocol: For instance: Lame xine mad (files also those for KDE...) Mainly packages are available also for YaST installations under: Packman: ftp://packman.links2linux.de/pub/packman/MIRRORS and as Folder: suse/10.0 Other rpms folders for YaST installation under any supplementary Folder for KDE upgrades. After this, amarok must rock also by you. If you will not use the beta version go to the stabile last one 1.3.8. and I recommend without doubt the xine engine. B) Try and have fun. I managed to get things working by turning off the on screen display.
I don\'t know if it is related, but when I ran amarok from the command line I got... QObject::connect: No such slot EngineController::slotStreamMetaData(const MetaBundle&) -Patrick |
