Ok, first off, to follow the rules: I\'m using amaroK 1.4 beta2 and the xine engine.
I\'ve recently been converting over to amaroK as my main music player and also using it to manage my iPod. I noticed tonight that the ratings in amaroK and on the iPod work differently from each other. If a rating is 5 stars on the iPod, it only registers as a 2.5 star rating in amaroK. A rating of 1 star on the iPod does not even show up in amaroK. Likewise, I\'ve seen a rating of 5 stars in amaroK show up as zero stars on the iPod. Has anyone else seen this sort of behavior? I\'m not sure if this is an amaroK issue or a libgpod issue (I compiled with libgpod support), but I figured it was worth reporting anyway. -trailbound |

I've a similar problem. Did you solve the problems?
The ratings of mp3 copied from amarok to my ipod mini are shown correct on my ipod. But if I rate mp3 on my ipod I am not able to sync the ratings with the mp3 in amarok. Isn't this possible? I'm using amarok 1.4.0 and SuSe 10.1 regards JC |

Strange I've not been able to see ANY connection between the ratings in my ipod/itunes and that of Amarok wich I'd rather use exclusively were it not for this. Or can I just make my own smart play lists with Amarok and synk them with the Ipod that way?
