m3u playlist: changed paths

Wed Apr 05, 2006 4:57 pm
After installing amaroK 1.4-beta2 and rescanning my collection,
all the paths in my m3u playlist (except for those with write-protection) were changed from relative to absolute paths.
This is a problem, because when I move the folder or save them on cd, the playlist won\'t play anymore.
Does anyone know this problem, or know how I might change the entries back easily without hacking all the playlist manually with an editor?
I\'ve tried my best, changed settings, rescanned again...nothing

compiled amaroK from source
on SuSE 10
xine 1.1.1
compiled without postgres and mysql support

has anyone solved this?  it would make for a good feature (click on an 'unknown' song and amarok would autofind it in the current database) or at least a nice script...
