Do I have to roll my own or is it a rpm that I could find so I could get this up and working. Also I noticed that some compiled RPMS required glibc 2.4, however I am still running with glibc 2.35. My taglib is 1.4-5. Thanks already for taking the time to respond… |

I get the same error after doing an upgrade of KDE and QT! My amaroK-installation stops working.
I know the problem is referenced in the official KDE documentation. However, the solution:
...doesn't exactly point a newbie like me the way to heaven. Recompiling to link amaroK up with the correct libqt doesn't help a thing. Have anybody seen this? I suppose I'm not the only one with my kind of distro/window manager, as it's fairly standard...: Suse 9.3 (stable) KDE 3.5.3 (stable) qt3.3.6 (stable) trying to install latest amarok-1.4 from rpm (amarok-1.4.0_2.0-2.guru.suse93.i686.rpm) (stable) installing should work like a charm, since I'm not trying to do anything out of the ordinary. Thanks in advance, -torgeir- |
