dcop isPlaying states

Sun Apr 16, 2006 6:08 pm
Hello,
I use dcop events to control amarok using remote controller, I do the same with kaffeine (movie watcher). Ofcourse when I don\'t watch movies and listen to music in the same time so some buttons are asigned to scripts which check what is playing/open now and they do some things. For example I use one button to: start playing music and pause music. Unfortunately dcop variable in amarok \"isPlaying\" returns false when music is just paused. I know that it is possible to use nowPlaying which is empty when not playing and not empty when in pause mode, but I think that this should by changed so that isPlaying is true also when in pause mode (or you could change it to integer so that to return 3 kinds of state, 0 - not playing, 1- pause, 2-playing).

BTW It\'s great app! :-)
