I have just created a new music library and have found I have multiple copies of the same songs. I tried running \"Remove duplicate and dead entries\" from the playlist menu but it does nothing. Is this tool supposed to provide any sort of indication that it has done/failed?
I am using amarok 1.4-beta2

This is not supposed to remove duplicates from your collection, just from the list of items you selected for playing - from the playlist that is displayed in amarok\'s largest subwindow.
