libmusicbrainz problem

Sun May 14, 2006 12:11 am
hello,
Im quite a newbie to using Linux and I most probably have the wrong or asking a complete dumbassed question but... why is it when i try to install the amaroK beta, it says:

Some package requested cannot be installed: amaroK1.4-beta2.2.2006.0gm.i586 (due to unsatisfied devel (libmusicbrainz)) Continue?

I tried compiling libmusicbrainz and installed the library but I still get this error :/. Would be nice to use this beta :]
Btw, I'm using Mandriva 2006.0.

Thanks.

There's something weird going on with libtunepimp for me, too...  I can't install Picard because it breaks!  Right now I've got libtunepimp2c2a installed, and there's a libtunepimp4 available (wtf?!). :P
