Has anyone gained anymore information on this? I also have Ubuntu Dapper (that's gnome, yo)... I installed Amarok for specifically this feature last night. It worked fine. I stopped it, and left amarok on while I went to bed, I got up and... then when I started playing again it wouldn't submit to last.fm. Literally the problem started over night. The servers are up, password and name is right...

I was really excited about Amarok Rhythmbox has all the buttons in confusing places.
