After upgrading from amaroK 1.3.x to 1.4 beta 3, I noticed that my listening stats (number of times played, last time played, rating, etc.) don't get updated.  It looks as if all of the data is still intact in the DB (mysql 4.1.16).  I'm not getting any errors in amaroK or mysql (at least none that I'm seeing).  The amaroK upgrade was the result of upgrading from FC4 to FC5.  Any ideas what's going on and how I can fix it?  Thanks!

I neglected to also state that the context tab keeps saying that "This file is not in your Collection!", even though I can see the file on the collection tab.  Would it be best if I blew away the database and recreated from scratch?  Not my preference, but...

SOLUTION:

All I had to do to fix was add a new field to the "statistics" table called "rating" of type INT.  Now all my stats seem to be updating and are correct.

You're lucky, because I did this ant its fixed some of the problems but the scores are still not displayed.

When adding this new filed (rating), the playcount field is now taking into account, the scores (percentage are stored and even updated) but not shown in amarok playlist.
What is funny is that the score are ok in the statistic tools !!!
Dumping the DB, and uploading again the DB in sqlites3 with the new filed does'nt help that much for the score... I'm still puzzled.
I'm wondering if I have messed up something with the fields?
