hello! my problem is still that the HELIX-Engine does not work fine on M-audio Delta1010LT! i can play every type of audio-format like mp3s+waves,...-but the sound makes some latency-problems with my HQ-soundcard!
is there anybody who knows, how i can change the bufferzize of my soundcard (M-audio Delta1010LT with alsa and envy24control!!). i choosed the amarok 1.3 from the openSuse 10.0 DVD with the helix engine,..!
or is there a way-how i can configure the helix-engine for my soundcard,..in some details??? but please recognize, that i am not a proffessional unix-freak! just a newbie who is a big fan of suses open source linux! i made a perfect multimedia-system with all codecs-plugins (mp3,xvid,divx,ogg,etc.), xmms, k3burn, m-player, vlc,...ADOUR+AUDACITY,....! and i prefer gnome! EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE AND RIGHT!  AND I LOVE MY SYSTEM!  this summer i will make a great t-shirt for my own: with big orange letters: LINUX!    -but before-please give me the rest of my puzzle: a stabble working HELIX-ENGINE or just the way to configure mine!
