Amarok 1.4 happily connects to my Creative Muvo when the latter is mounted as a USB device and will transfer  MP3s to the device.

However the transferred MP3s are strangely jumbled when played back.  For example song A might play for say 2 minutes then abruptly song B will interrupt for while before song A comes back in at some point other than where it was interrupted.  Shortly later song C and even D might interrupt in the same way.  Throughout these interruptions the player claims that only song A is playing.

The original MP3s on my hard drive are fine and songs copied to the Muvo other than with Amarok are also ok.  So it seems clear that the data is getting jumbled somehow by Amarok during the transfer from hard drive to MP3 player. Does anyone have any idea how to cure this?

Did you ever find a cure for this?  I'm experience the same jumbled MP3's, and am curious what I need to adjust.
