I have a problem with my Amarok 1.3.1 on my Suse 10.0 machine, because every time a want to play a ong via Amarok i have to turn up the volume according to the PCM Channel in KMix. When playing a playlist, i have the same problem after every song. Does Amarok want to punk me or what?

This is a bug that was fixed a while ago. Upgrade to 1.4.0 or 1.3.9.
