I am using Gstreamer 0.10 and Amarok version 1.40 on FC 5.
I have a bunch of mp3 files and also some oggs. I have all the files in a single folder on my desktop and it loads the folder at startup.
Problem is, it doesn't load the oggs, only the mp3s. If I try to play an ogg file, however, it plays perfectly fine. I have no clue what the problem could be.

Any help is muchly appreciately,
Thanks

What do you mean by this? The oggs are not in your collection, but if you add them from the filebrowser they play fine?
Or that you can play oggs outside of amaroK but not with amarok?

In the latter case, you should make sure that you  have th e ogg-plugin for gstreamer installed.

gstreamer isn't supported in 1.4.0 - you're either using xine engine or helix engine.

Sorry, I mean that if I add them from the filebrowser they play fine. I am using xine by the way.
