i recently upgraded to amarok 1.4 (like it very much), but the thing i liked the most - the dynamic mode isn't working for me. it just says "no tracks were returned to be inserted". it worked allright in 1.3. I am running mandriva 2006.0 official.

I'll be most grateful if someone help me solve this issue.

what that means is that either last.fm isn't responding to suggestion requests at the moment (possible, as there's maintenence going on there for a few days) or the tracks your playing are so obscure that noone else listens, or if they do, the tracks that THEY listen to aren't in your collection.

thing is, i tried to connect to last.fm, and it worked from konqueror, so why can't amarok connect?

i also remembered other issue-when i select some engine i am actually incapable running, amarok just jumps from song to song all freezed up and i have to kill him, thus losing all the changes i made... maybe if the ratings, settings, playlist, etc, would be saved let's say every x minutes (and make x user configurable), that would be great i think...

while i'm at remembering issues;) when i turn the equalizer on, it's allright as long as i don't move the sliders or change the preset, after which my volume is down by maybe 50%... even if i max the pre-amp it isn't anywhere near the original volume.... i'm using ATI IXP soundcard (realtek AC'97) on mandriva linux 2006.0 official

thx for your time
