amaroK 1.4 svn has a strange layout!

Tue Jun 06, 2006 10:16 am
 What is up with the new layout in cvs?  Is this something planned to be the new standard?  If so, I hope there are plans to allow a person to rearrange things to their liking.  This is a bit difficult to get used to, and there are no obvious ways to re-arrange it to my liking.  Just curious

Read this:
http://amarok.kde.org/blog/archives/93-Face-lifting-amaroK.html

And of course the commends below it.
We'll see where this is heading to, but at the moment I am also no fan of the new layout, but hey, it's svn and it keeps moving so I wait to get convinced by the new ideas.

Where can I get a redesigned css for the context browser? It needs colums for the new layout.

The latest SVN has columns at least while not playing a song. I guess, more will follow (AFAIK you cannot define columns in css, this has to be done in the html which defines the document structure)

And the amaroK context browser has to use tags because KDE 3.3 doesn't have great CSS support.
