Hello,

I recently switched from itunes to amarok, it is a great program 8-).

However, there is something I do not understand. Everytime I add covers to a m4a file with itunes it is written into the file (mp4 container). And mp4info drops the line:
"Metadata Cover Art pieces: 1"

If I add covers in amarok they remain in the database and are not written to the files, why? Can I enable this? I sometimes use itunes too and then the covers do not show up.

Regards,
Daniel.

P.S. using 1.4.0 on FreeBSD 6.1

I'll tell you how I solved this problem... I stopped using iTunes.

That does not solve the problem. Amarok stores the covers in the home directory of the current user. What if another user wants to play the files? What if I want to play them on another computer, with another user, another environment?? Metadata should always be stored within the audio file!

Regards,
Daniel.
