Hi searayman,
as written in your other posting, please give some more information. Which engine are you using. If it's helix you need the package realplay for RealPlayer10 from PLS repository or realplayer from universe installed. So if it's helix, try sudo apt-get realplay for version 10 or sudo apt-get realplayer for version 8. You need to set the path to the codecs in amarok's configuration dialog. But nevertheless this isn't really an amarok problem. This is something you can find on Ubuntu forums. If you're using xine or gstreamer, perhaps libmp4v2 is missing. But I think, should be in the dependencies. Good luck m0nk
