hi, i recently upgraded to amarok 1.4, everything is fine, no collection, playback or whatsoever problems apart from the fact that system tray tooltip won't show no matter how long i hover my mouse over amarok icon...

i am running suse 10.1 (since not-so-long-ago i was runing mandriva 2006 and i didn't have this problem)

so pls, is there any workaround for this?

well guys thanks for "REALLY FAST AND ACCURATE" answer. i found out by myself, that i have to close mediamanager applet and open it again and my problem is solved...

you know, this is second time i had some problems with amarok 1.4 which i had to solve somewhere else than here, 'cause nobody bothered here... amarok is a great player but this forum sux

amarok 1.4 = fast forward
this forum = stop

for god's sake isn't this pae meant to deal with these problems? www.linuxquestions.org is 100x better i usually get reply in 5 - 15 minutes after posting...

you know, normally people allow at least 24 hours before whining about the lack of service...

if I'd seen your message yesterday I'd have told you to restart your kicker - which would restart any applets - this fixed it for me under gentoo.

Remember, no one here is paid for what they do... it's all for the love of the 'rok, and deep seated masochistic tendencies.
