Hi,

I just installed amarok as a package from develia.org, and when I run amarok, I get the following error:

amarok: error while loading shared libraries: libpng.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

However I have libpng-1.2.10 installed.  When running

Code: Select all

ls /usr/lib | grep libpng
libpng.a@
libpng.so@
libpng.so.3@
libpng.so.3.1.2.8*
libpng12.a
libpng12.so@
libpng12.so.0@
libpng12.so.0.1.2.8*


I see that libpng.so.0 is not there.  Can someone give me some help?  I'm pretty new with linux and am not sure how to solve this...
