I just installed Mandriva 2006 on my brother's computer and i'm trying to get amarok 1.4 to work on it.  I downloaded and installed the rpms and everything seemed to install fine.  When I start amarok it switches the engine to viod-engine.  If I select the xine engine it says "xine was unable to initialize any audio-drivers".  I can play mp3s using "xine " without  any problems but it won't work in amarok.  The computer is an x86_64 but the rpms were i586.  I didn't think this would be a problem other than not being optimized but perhaps it is.  I have tried two sets of rpms, both i586, and they both come up with the same error.  Any help would be appreciated.
