Trying to get amarok to send music to my MPIO FY200 player. This unit was recently flashed to make it a UMS device. I have tested this under windows, and it works fairly simply.

The nuts-and-bolts:
Code: Select all
~ # uname -a
Linux athame 2.6.16-AS24-default #1 Tue Jan 24 19:23:40 CET 2006 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
~ # rpm -qa | grep amarok
amarok-helix-1.4.1_0.1-1.guru.suse100
amarok-xine-1.4.1_0.1-1.guru.suse100
amarok-helix-backend-1.3.8-14.3
amarok-libvisual-1.4.1_0.1-1.guru.suse100
amarok-1.4.1_0.1-1.guru.suse100

My fstab entry:
Code: Select all
/dev/sda            /mnt/mpio            vfat       noauto,utf8,users       0 0

I've configured amarok to handle the device. For the pre- and post-connection commands, I used
Code: Select all
mount /mnt/mpio

Now when I plug the MPIO in, it is properly seen by amarok, and I can connect to it.

However, when I try to send music to it, there is an error stating that the transfer failed. That's it, no other data. Any suggests for how to troubleshoot this?
