Hidden Folder in Amarok Collection

Sun Jul 16, 2006 10:53 am
HOw can I add to the amarok collection the aMule hidden folder ($HOME/.aMule/Incoming) ?

The problem is that I can't see hidden folder in the settings->collection window...

I also tried adding a symbolic link in the collection folder but amarok do not follow it (I can't see the linked folder looking for it in the setting->collection windows again...)

Thx

Hi, its not exactly what you are asking ... but will mention it here. In aMule preferencies, you can set "Incoming Directory", so this must not be hidden. And you can customize also more, where will be downloaded files moved - creating category (e.g. for music files), set "Incoming Directory" for that category.

Thats solution too, IMHO.

I've found this solution too, but I was trying to not move all my files from .aMule/Incoming to another directory....

But now I've noticed that Amarok followed the symbolic link, so there si no problem =)

Thanks anyways
