Hey everybody,
I wanted to customize my context layout a bit because I think the Suggested Songs/Favourite Songs take up too much room since they each use 2 lines for each song - one for Score, another for Rating. Is there any way we can get those back on one line with just a number for Score and the stars for Rating? I've looked through the CSS wiki and some example stylesheets but they only seem to adjust colours/fonts and not necessarily what is displayed. Would someone please point me in the right direction? Cheers, -Aaron |

Right click someplace blank and you can turn them off.

I still want the Suggested Songs or whatever... but I want to change how the songs are listed in this section. Right now tracks take up two lines for Rating and Score - I'd like to format them onto one line.

open amarok, then take a look at
${HOME}/.kde/share/apps/amarok/contextbrowser.html There you find the actual HTML code for the context browser. You can open it in any browser and it will display the current context browser look/content. Take a look at it and alter the stylesheet (that's the only thing you can do in a theme). Thus, you are somehow limited, as you cannot regroup elements etc, but still. After you are happy with your results, use the CSS to create a new theme and commit the theme to kde-look.org I hope this helps. P.S. You also can disable ratings or scoring at all in the configure dialog, thus they will no longer be displayed |

Thanks Marcel,
So I guess I can't rearrange the look of the Suggested Songs then, eh? I'm happy with the colour scheme, I just wanted to rework how songs are listed in the Favourites and Suggested sections - IMO they take up too much vertical space. I do like the ratings and scores, so I don't want to disable them... but thanks for responding, nonetheless. Cheers, -Aaron |

I tried something similar before and also failed. Maybe there are some bad css-hacks to position the s used here...
