is it a necessity that the lyrics are interpreted as HTML code?

In my case I have many lyris saved in the ID3 tags and they are loaded from these. Some of them contain edged braces ("<" and ">") and Amarok tries to interpret the text in betweeen as an HTML tag. This makes these braces an the included text not be displayed at all.

I do not thnk many users have their lyrics HTML formatted and could benefit from this "feature".

What do you think about this?
