Hi All,
Just a irritation rather than a severe problem, but the collection in my Amarok now includes (since 1.4.1beta) all of the sound files in my home folder, rather than the folder which the collection is set to. I have a specific folder where are store my music, and I want Amarok to use this folder for my collection only, but in fact no matter what the collection is set to, it still uses the entirety of my home folder, using program sounds and audio books which I do not want to include in my Amarok collection. How can I remove files from my collection? Many thanks Michael |

Yes this also happens to me...It's very frustrating.
I choose every folder that I want but it stays with a previous setting I've chosen even if it's not ticked. But I've got a solution...edit "./kde/share/config/amarokrc" and remove the lines under "[Collection Folders]" start amarok again and choose the right folders. Hope that helps. |

Puzzling. What version of Amarok do you all use.
