Hi, new here.
First of all. I love Amarok! It's compleatly genious! And it's the best music player there is! But: I have some .wma-files and Amarok cuts the start of them, up to 8 seconds! Does anyone have a solution? And no, I'm not converting them to .mp3. I'm using Amarok 1.4.1 on Dapper. I think it's still a beta (haven't checked), but i've got it since Taglib 1.4 (I think) is the only lib for Amarok that reads .wma-metadata correct. Hope someone has a solution. I've also checked that the crossfader is of. And, it is ONLY .wma-files this happends to. |

I suppose this might be a xine bug. Would be good if you first upgraded to the latest xine-lib (1.1.2), and if the bug persists, report a bug in the xine bugzilla.

Thanks. But I'm no Linuxpro so i might need a little help since this is not a debian file. I've downloaded it, run ./configure, make and make install, but it amaroK don't seem to be loading the correct lib. Do I have to uninstall the old lib or?

Yes, you need to uninstall the old library first.

Ok. Umm... I have noting in Synaptic called xine-lib. What does that mean? Closest thing is libxine1c2, libxine-extracodecs, libxine-main1. Is that correct?
