Everything was fine but i decided to try the beta, compiled successfully but when it scans the library give me this output and no file is added to the collection:

TagLib: MPEG::Header :: parse() -- Invalid sample rate.
TagLib: ID3v2.4 no longer supports the frame type RVA. It will be discarded from the tag.

I went back to stable and still have the same problem, uninstalled everything related to amarok including taglib and reinstalled but still the same result ...

Any help apreciated

Bad idea, since Amarok does not support downgrading. Now your collection is hosed.

rm ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/collection.db
