Music Library Case (insensitive)

Fri Aug 18, 2006 5:50 pm
I have been reading as much as i can about case insensitive option in amarok, but all I find are issues witht the search. I was wondering if there is anyway to make the music collection browser case insensetive. Is this an option, going to be an option? If not, I need to find another way to fix the issue (probably going through all the tracks and fixing the cases to match, not fun)

Example:
Artist1: TRUSTcompany
Arists2: trustcompany

I'd rather have these be the same since band names are unique by name, not case :)

Does nobody else have this problem?

I am using version 1.4.1 on fedora core 5 with Mysql as the backend.

Thanks,

I agree, case insensitivity makes sense here. Make a bug report?
