Hi guys. I just installed Amarok 1.3.9 in a new Ubuntu installation. Ubuntu detects the flash drive as a USB storage media, but Amarok does not. In previous Amarok versions i could change the storage media settings but not now. What should i do? I'm already using a plug in to fix this, but in previous versions this was solved with some tweaking with the Devices tool option. The plug is is something not very elegant. I cry when i read "improved generic players suppor"

Thanks and take care!

Upgrade to 1.4 and use the generic media device plugin.
You could try http://imbrandon.com/packages/pool/dapper/amarok/ for packages.
