Hello all, any help would be appreciated.
I recently installed Mandriva 2006 and am trying to access my ipod. If I connect the iPod the contents of the iPod are located within /mnt/ipod/ and I can navigate through here within the terminal as 'su'. But I cannot access it with Amarok, I don't know if my connection settings are incorrect within amarok but when I go to "Configure->Amarok" I get a "Could not enter folder /" error. Also, when I try and read the iPod iTunesDB file within gtkpod (i know this is not a gtkpod forum, sorry) I get an error stating "'/mnt/ipod/iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB' does not exist. Import aborted."; despite the fact that I can see the contents as superuser in the terminal. I don't know if i have to change the ownership or access settings of something or if I have incorrect connection settings. Also, I try and install Amarok v1.4.2 and I get an error stating I need to install Amarok-Scripts, and when I try and install this i get a "unsatisfied kjsembed" error. Again, any help would be appreciated. This is what my fstab file contains: /dev/sda2 /mnt/ipod vfat iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850,noauto,users 0 0 I've also tried typing "sudo dosfsck -a /dev/sda2" within the terminal but no dice. Thanks again for any help. David |
