Hi
I'm using kubuntu with amarok 1.4.3 and am investigating daap shares and zeroconf. I have zeroconf working fine and have set up a share using kpf running on port 3689. In konqi this is shown as "zeroconf://local/_http._tcp/" with my music shown as an http share, double click and I get my music no probs . I've followed the instructions here: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Music_Sharing and can get to step 10 "A folder labelled with the name of your DAAP server should appear." but no folder appears. I can hit connect and the status bar says "successfully connected" or similar, but still no folder. * If i launch an ogg from konqi via the zeroconf share, it buffers and plays fine. * If I hit the down arrow next to disconnect in amarok, the "add computer" dialogue pops up, If I enter an IP address of my machine amarok crashes. But IP is not the point of zeroconf is it? So my question ... how do i get the folder outlined at step 10 so I can browser in amarok ? Cheers James |

With amarok 1.4.3 under kubuntu, I have the same problem, Amarok crash.
I enter the IP adresse to connect, and it crash. I use the latest stable mt-daap. Daap browsing and playing works with banshee. Daap was working fine with 1.4.2. A bad patch broke daap client ? |
