When connecting my iPod nano I can see all the playlists I've created except the On-The-Go playlist.
Is it possible to read this? Phil |

libgpod, the library that Amarok is using to access ipods, does not read on-the-go playlists. The library's developer expressed his opinion on this matter: he thinks that on-the-go playlists are just that and should not preserved across library syncs. So, the answer: no, this is rather impossible for Amarok.

OK thanks,
I respect his wishes, but personally think that's a shame. When out and about I often add tunes to the on the go playlist and often create a playlist that captures a moment or period. For me, music reflects my mood and it's often nice to look back and remember what music I was listening to at various times and locations. In Itunes I would rename the On-The-Go to something that reflected the period and keep it. Never mind, I'll just have to copy them by hand. Phil |
