Hello,
After a recent update to 1.4.3, the icon in my notification area (system tray) is cutoff. The icon is 1 pixel wide, and only shows the left most pixel of the full icon. Attached screenshot should clarify. The tiny blue-ish sliver is the Amarok icon. What does show is still clickable and works properly otherwise. All my other icons show in full, which leads me to suspect it's Amarok specific. This installation of Amarok was built from source via the Gentoo package. The problem first appeared after enabling xinerama support on my system for packages that support it, but removing xinerama support from Amarok, kdelibs, kdemultimedia, and gtk+, and rolling back to 1.4.2 and 1.4.1 hasn't fixed the problem. If anyone can give me any tips on what might be causing this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, |

I removed xinerama support from everything on my system that uses it, and the problem still occurs. Like I mentioned, this only happens to Amarok.
Could anyone tell me what libraries and/or files are used in the tray icon drawing process? Any definitive info will help me in tracking this down. Anything at all, thanks, |

have you tried changing kde themes? I'm pretty sure someone mentioned this in another thread here.
[edit] my bad, they were talking about a bodgy status bar. still, can't hurt to try.
