I'm not sure if this is something that changed in a recent version or if there is an option for this, but I couldn't find any info about it.
I noticed that in my collection sorted by artist I only see the artists from wich I have a complete album and not those that are included in compilations. Is there an option to change this behaviour? (Amarok 1.4.2)

I was just about to post the same problem when I read your post. I have a few songs by the same artist that show up under 'Various Artists'. So I changed the artist tags so they were all the same, but they still dont show up under that artist. Even after a rescan of the collection and restarting the app.
