Hi!

I just installed Kubuntu 6.06 my PPC PowerBook and everything in KDE works well - excepted Amarok.

So I have:
Qt: 3.3.6
KDE: 3.5.2
Amarok: 1.4.2

When starting, Amarok takes 100% CPU and doesn't show up - no graphic error messages are displayed.

So I lauched Amarok from the command line, and here's what is displayed:

Code: Select all
amarok: BEGIN: void App::continueInit()
amarok: BEGIN: EngineBase* EngineController::loadEngine(const QString&)

The last lines repeat over and over endlessly...

I already tried the following:
- apt-get remove --purge amarok - and then reinstall
- remove .kde/share/apps/amarok/collection.db
- remove the whole .kde folder (and of course lose all my kde settings)

But that didn't solve the problem.

Help! What can I do? :confused:

Thank you very much, amarok 1.4.3 works as a charm!

Sorry for having reported a known bug... I searched for similar bugs, but didn't find that this issue was already known.
