amarok not loading installed theme

Thu Sep 21, 2006 9:46 am
Hi,

I was trying to load the nightfall theme, but it stays on the default one, any suggestions?
I have checked that the theme is in the themes directory.

cheers

I am having same probelem, but with ALL themes. I can browse for them... select to install, green check mark appears next to it. But it does not show up in my drop down list as an option and never installs really.

I am running on Fedora 7.

After installing the style, try saving amarok's settings then going back in there. Worked for me using 1.4.6. I used the "download styles" dialogue in settings to get the style.

Also, make sure the style you're installing is a current one. Many of the ones on kde-look are for older versions of amarok and not all get updated as amarok changes.
