I have googled and searched and can't find this. I want to add and option to the KDE autoplay menu to have Amarok play and audio CD when it is inserted. I can't figure it out. I assume that I need a command line that loads the contents of the CD into the playlist and then plays it, but I can't find the command to load the contents of the CD into the playlist. I need a command line, not directions on how to use the GUI. Thanks.

Bump. Is there another Amarok forum somewhere with more traffic?

The traffic is fine here, you forgot the obvious: No one has an answer.
Check the wiki or kdcop if there is a DCOP call to do this. Otherwise, this feature is not implemented and you might want to open a feature request in the bug tracking system. |

I checked the wiki and didn't see an answer. I also looked at the Amarok entries with kdcop. I don't know for sure what I was looking at (or what I would have done if I found something) but I did not see anything that looked like a "play cd" function. I can't believe that with as many people as use KDE and Amarok, that someone hasn't figured this out, so I assume it is not possible. Disappointing.

yes yes... but did you, or anyone else, actually bother to request such a feature?
http://bugs.kde.org that's http://bugs.kde.org do you need it again?
