Using FC5, Amarok v1.4.3 (Helix engine); attempting to fast-forward a small amount of time (say 60 seconds) into the playback of a 43 minute long mp3 file with cross-fading (4000 ms) enabled will consume all memory. It creates thousands of identical processes called

until all memory is gone.  With cross-fading off it isn't a problem.  Anyone else seen this type of behavior?
