Strange artwork problem...

Wed Sep 27, 2006 10:38 am
Hi everyone! First of all, can I say well done and thank you to the Amarok team - it really is a class bit of software.

I'm having a problem getting Amarok to copy album artwork to my iPod Video 30GB when I transfer my entire collection to it, by doing a CTRL+A then right-clicking and choosing "Transfer To Media Device". All the songs copy across fine (the important bit of course). If I just right-click a single album and transfer it, it works fine.

I'm wondering if it is the way that I have the covers named. Each album is in it's own directory, with the cover art being a .jpg file called "cover.jpg". The filename is the same for every album.

Could anyone shed any light on this? I'm using Amarok 1.4 with Fedora Core 5.

Cheers!

I'm not an expert but in case it helps, there is a script available on the web page called copy covers which will copy covers to a device and name them via album name etc if it helps ;}
