Hi,

I'm having a little problem with Amarok 1.4.3 on a Suse 10.1 computer. I was using the 1.3 version and everuthing was fine. I could download my podcasts even with a proxy connection.
Now I'm trying the 1.4.3 version and I can't download them anymore. I have tryed every possible configuration with and withou proxy.
The rss that I'm using are fine.
If I try to listen to this same podcast using de streaming in Amarok they play fine. But If I choose to download the file to put it in my ipod, they go from 0% to 100% in a blink and the file created is empty. It is not a problem with my directory either. I have full acces to it.
Have anyone this problem to?

i too experienced the same problem with amarok 1.4.3 (compiled from svn)

after i started to go into podcast withdrawal i investigated the cause of the problem

for me it turned out to be an issue with podcasts serving files from a nonstandard port, for example Digital-DJs.com which uses port 8080

i located the offending (lack of) code in playlistbrowseritem.cpp, in the PodcastFetcher constructor. a simple fix (for svn revision 585152) was the following patch
