Whenever I try to play any mp3, I get this error
Error Loading Media
There is no available decoder.

It does seem to play ogg files fine, though.

It seems to be able to load radio streams (last.fm and others) but it doesn't actually play any sound from them.

I'm running Gentoo with KDE 3.5.2.  I don't have this problem with other music players (xmms, noatun, mpg123).  Any advice would be nice.

Thanks.

That fixed it!  Thanks!  I figured it was a use flag that I missed, I just didn't know where to look.

Hello, I had this problem as well, but that solution did not help me =/

At first, I noticed my xine-lib did not have a mad use flag .. but I tried ~x86 (i use gentoo) and then i could set the mad use flag. I emerged xine-lib, it was 1.1.3, and tried amarok again... no luck. Ive tried amarok-1.4.4 and amarok-1.4.4-r2.

Please help, i hate using VLC for music lol

If you need any more info please ask!

Thanks
