firstRunWizard compile error

Thu Oct 12, 2006 9:04 am
Hi,

Iget this error compiling amarok 1.4.3 (same error with 1.4.1 shipped with kde3.5.4):

app.cpp: In member function 'void App::firstRunWizard()':
app.cpp:1056: error: 'FirstRunWizard' was not declared in this scope
app.cpp:1056: error: expected `;' before 'wizard'
app.cpp:1057: error: 'wizard' was not declared in this scope
make[4]: *** [app.lo] Error 1

I have KDE 3.5.4, tried both gcc 3.1.1 and gcc 4.1.1.
Any clues?

Thanks,

Stefano

Solved!
My compile was using qt libraries of one version and uic and moc of another version....

You shouldn't compile 1.4.3. Use either distro packages or SVN. Our tarballs always contain some bugs that have already been fixed (patched) in packages.
