Using Amarok 1.4.1 (debian package), I've been unable to get Amarok to play nicely with my iPod. Everything looks like it should be fine, but it doesn't display the files that are already on the (windows-formatted) device. It's mounted to /media/ipod, and amarok shows that (dev/sdb2 mounted to /media/ipod), but when I go to copy files, I get
Note the invalid characters that replace the path to the device. I can't imagine why it's not using /media/ipod. I tried gtkpod, but I can't get that to work either, although it's not clear if it's the same problem or not. |

Edit: I backed up the device, cleared the drive, and had Amarok format it. Amarok correctly initialized the /media/ipod location, but then I've got the same error as the original with the garbage paths.
