Heyya Amarok guys!  I'm a big amarok fan, works great, all I use.  However, there's this little glitch/gremlin/etc.. that always pops up.  The progress bar at the bottom right that moves along as the song plays.  It moves with the song fine, but if I try to slide it forward/backwards/etc amarok seems to aaaaalmost lock up.  The visualizations, etc lock up, and the mouse cursor goes to a working state.  Music keeps playing, but the app seems locked.  Sometimes by clicking another song, it will snap out of it, but sometimes not. 

In short, I can't slide the progress bar to move forword or backwards in a song.

Any ideas?

Version is 1.43, though I recall it was broke also in 1.42.  Engine I'm using I believe is the realplayer engine.  Hmm.. hadn't thought of switching the engine.  I'll give it a shot, as well as clicking vs dragging.

Seeking in amarok really depends on the engine - clicking should be more stable that fast seeking via a drag or scroll. keep us posted.

Alright.. sorry for the 2 or 3 day delay there.. was afk.  Yeah, clicking vs dragging worked much better.  Also, I switched engines from the realplayer/helix engine to the xine engine, which seems to work infinately better.  Clicking and dragging work flawlessly under the xine engine.  Thanx for the great insight!
