Like the topic says, when I try to use alsa as my sound plugin, it throws me this error: "Could not launch the mail client: KDEInit could not launch 'kmail': Could not find 'kmail' executable". My sound works fine if I chose OSS as the output plugin. But I want alsa, because it has extra settings I'd like to use.  I'm currently using OSS as the output plugin.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Edit: I'm using Gentoo, and Amarok 1.4.3

Sounds like Amarok tries to send a bug report. But I thought it was changed and didn't have to use Kmail, seems like I was wrong?
Do you get any error messages if you start Amarok in a terminal and select Alsa?
